THACKLEY are hoping to play their first home game of 2016 tonight when Pontefract Collieries visit in the Northern Counties East League.

The last time the Dennyboys hosted a match, way back on December 8, ended with defeat as Silsden put them out of the West Riding County Cup.

Their last home Premier Division game was way back on November 21 and they picked up three points that day after a 3-0 win over Armthorpe Welfare.

Pontefract will also be a little rusty as they take on a 16th-placed Dennyboys side who are immediately above them in the table.

Thackley's divisional neighbours ALBION SPORTS travel to Division One outfit Teversal for a League Cup third-round tie.

Kulwinder Sandhu's men, who are sixth in the top flight, will be favourites against hosts who are 13th in the lower tier.
