Silsden
Top six still the goal for Schofield
Silsden slipped into the bottom half of the table this week, despite taking a point from their midweek game, but are still nine points ahead of Saturday's hosts Runcorn Linnets.
The Cheshire side are just two places lower but the Vodkat League Division One table has split almost down the middle. The top three are well clear of the field but Silsden are only six points off fourth place, while the Linnets cannot even catch Silsden.
That led Cobbydalers manager Paul Schofield to underline his desire to finish in the top six for the first time in the club's long history and the squad will be boosted by the return of Martin Packer and Liam King, who missed Monday's 1-1 draw at Atherton Collieries.
Goalkeeper Martin Foulger could also return after being unavailable for the weekend, which included Saturday's 3-2 home defeat to fourth-placed Squires Gate and the trip to Atherton. He ran the London marathon for MS because his mother has suffered with the disease for many years.
