Bradford Park Avenue face a tough fixture in the Blue Square Bet North Division tomorrow night when they make the journey to Chester FC.

It will be the first meeting of the clubs in the higher division after both were promoted from the Evo-Stik Premier Division last term.

Chester went up as champions and have started well as they are in second place going into the clash with mid-table Avenue, who went up via the play-offs.

Elsewhere Silsden host Squires Gate in the North West Counties League Premier Division, while Albion Sports are at home to Appleby Frodingham in Baris Northern Counties East League Division One.

In tonight’s action, Farsley kept their grip on second place in Evo-Stik Division One North with a 3-0 victory at struggling Goole AFC.

Adam Muller and Adam Priestley scored first-half goals and Muller added after the break.

In the Baris Northern Counties East League Premier Division, Thackley eased to a 3-1 home victory over lowly Nostell MW. The visitors took the lead but the Dennyboys hit back to win at a canter.

Danny Critchlow put the visitors 1-0 up but Nicky Matthews levelled just before the break. Brice Tiani made it 2-1 to the Dennyboys before Matthews added his second.

Eccleshill United were beaten 3-1 at Dinnington Town in Division One, Alex Rouse putting the Eagles front with the only goal of the first half.
