Silsden get off the mark

Silsden picked up a first victory of the season at the second time of asking when they beat Bacup Borough 1-0 at home last night in the North West Counties Premier Division.

The Cobbydalers’ winner came from the penalty spot just after the hour, Mike Garrod making no mistake from 12 yards.
