BRIGHOUSE Town will be looking to capitalise on a weekend when some of their Evo-Stik League Division One North rivals are in FA Cup action or have a free weekend because their scheduled opponents have cup commitments.

Town are looking to bounce back from Bank Holiday Monday’s narrow defeat at the hands of Tadcaster Albion after playing 41 minutes with ten men and a stand-in keeper after Chandler Hallwood was sent off early in the second half.

The 3-2 defeat meant that Vill Powell’s side drop from seventh to 12th but they could make up some ground in the table with a win on Saturday.

Ossett Albion are Town’s hosts and the home side are second from bottom, being one of three clubs yet to pick up a point from their first four games.

Thackley will also be looking to climb the table in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division as they look for a win at Maltby Main to close the gap between the clubs.

The Dennyboys are 11th, seven places behind their hosts, but they have two games in hand and trail by only five points.

In Division One, Eccleshill United are looking for back-to-back home wins after beating Campion 3-1 in midweek.

The Eagles won thanks a first-half brace from Chris Lever and a second- half strike from Ben Hardy, and the three points took them above Saturday's visitors Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, who lost their midweek fixture.

Campion remained third, despite their defeat at the Mitton Group Stadium, and they will expect to get back to winning ways when they host 16th-placed Hallam, who are averaging just a point a game.

Silsden are looking to maintain their perfect start in Division One of the Hallmark Security League.

The Cobbydalers top the table after five games as they travel to Ruskin Drive to take on lowly St Helens Town.

Town are second from bottom and are yet to bank a point, but they have played only three games.
