SILSDEN visit Bootle tonight after new manager James Gill got his first win on Tuesday.
The Cobbydalers remain in a perilous position in the North West Counties Premier Division relegation zone but spokesman James Rosser says there has been a significant change in the atmosphere around the club since their 2-0 home success against AFC Liverpool.
“It was James Gill’s first win and it was a debut for Danny Forrest,” said Rosser.
“It gave everybody renewed hope and has made a huge difference to the mood but we all know there is a lot of work still to do.”
Silsden head to mid-table Congleton Town on Saturday, who have won twice as many games as Gill’s men this term.
It will be a difficult fixture for Silsden as their hosts have lost just three home games this season.
