GUISELEY missed out on a home game at the weekend when their National League fixture against Wrexham was postponed but there will be another of the division’s big-hitters at Nethermoor tonight.

Tranmere Rovers are in town for the first time and the fifth-placed promotion chasers will be looking for a double after winning the reverse fixture 2-1 at Prenton Park.

The Lions’ assistant manager Danny Boshell grabbed his side’s goal that day back in November.

To mark International Women’s Day there is free admission for all females of any age and the club’s women’s side, Guiseley Vixens, will be guests of honour.

The Vixens were promoted as champions of the FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division One last season, coincidentally beating Tranmere Rovers Ladies 2-1 in their final game of the campaign.

In the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division, Liversedge – whose pitch problems have been well documented – hope to have a home game with Pontefract Collieries providing the opposition.

Thackley are also at home in the same division with in form Pickering Town making the journey to Dennyfield.

Silsden have seen their last two home games postponed, but hope it will be third time lucky as FC Liverpool make the journey.
