NEW Silsden boss James Gill has made his first signings, bringing Zack Dale and Dale Feather back to the club.

Gill took the reins following Ryan Haigh's resignation at the weekend and has wasted no time in bolstering the squad with two former Cobbydalers favourites.

Gill said: "Both Zack and Dale have excellent qualities.

"Zack is a huge talent with a bright future in the game. His football has been stop-start since he left Silsden for Evo-Stik League side Clitheroe FC but I am hoping he can have a positive affect on his return.

"Dale is a player I know well as we played together in my last spell at the club.

"Dale is a tidy footballer and a great lad to have around the dressing room. His passing ability and his goal-scoring from midfield will be a huge boost in our quest for survival. "I do hope to add one or two more over the coming weeks to add to what is already a young, talented squad."

With tonight's West Riding County Cup semi-final looking unlikely to go ahead due to wet weather, the new signings' first fixture is likely to be at West Didsbury & Chorlton on Saturday.
