SILSDEN are in such peril in the North West Counties League Premier Division that even if they manage a second away win of the season tomorrow they could still find themselves in the relegation zone.
The Cobbydalers are averaging less than a point per game and journey to mid-table Ashton Athletic, so a second league victory on the road this term seems unlikely.
If they were to bank a maximum, they would remain third from bottom if Squares Gate, who are at eighth-placed Abbey Hey, avoid defeat.
Despite Ashton not having the best home form this season, they have had more wins and fewer defeats away from Brocstedes Park so far and will be favourites tomorrow but the game will be difficult to predict as both sides have played just one game in 2016.
