SILSDEN will be ring rusty if they finally get a home game in tomorrow, when they are due to face AFC Liverpool in the North West Counties League.

The Cobbydalers have not seen any meaningful action since they lost 3-0 at home to Atherton Collieries back on December 19.

Their last Premier Division game prior to that was way back on November 21 and the frustrations of several postponements and the loss to the Colliers since has left Silsden in the relegation zone.

The Cobbydalers, who are third from bottom, are three points adrift of safety but now have three games in hand on the two clubs that have climbed above them.

They will also be aware that seventh-placed Liverpool are on a poor run, having won just one of their last six league games, and have a poor away record with only 15 points from 12 games on the road.
