Sedge were at home in a West Riding County Cup tie and they progressed to the second round with a victory over Northern Counties East Premier Division rivals Pontefract Collieries.
Eccleshill United endured a frustrating home draw in the NCE Division One as visitors Teversal came back from a 1-0 half time deficit. The Eagles dominated spells but were denied a win when they hit the post in the last minute.
Silsden suffered a heavy defeat in the North West Counties Premier Division, going down 5-1 over the roses border at Padiham after going down to ten men.
