SILSDEN will be desperate for their derby form to return tonight when Roses rivals Nelson make the short trip across the border.
The Cobbydalers have lost their last four North West Counties League games and have to go back to neighbours Barnoldswick Town's visit to the Angel Telecom Stadium last month for their last win.
That was the only one of the last seven Premier Division fixtures that Silsden did not lose and picking up only three points from a possible 21 has left them hovering only just above the bottom three and low on confidence.
Tonight's visitors are a healthy seventh, although their form has dipped recently.
Following a six-game unbeaten run, Nelson have suffered four defeats in their last six games – although they did win last time out when beating AFC Blackpool 3-1 on Tuesday.
