Silsden 2, Runcorn Town 2
SILSDEN came from two goals down to force a home draw as visitors Runcorn Town lifted themselves out of the North West Counties League relegation zone.
There was controversy surrounding both of Runcorn's first-half goals in the Premier Division clash.
Cobbydalers keeper Danny Thorpe dived at the feet of an attacker just before the half-hour mark and picked up a yellow card, Paul Shanley netting from the resulting spot-kick.
When a 42nd-minute through-ball split the home defence, Runcorn striker Stuart Wellsend held up his hand as if to acknowledge that he was offside but inactive. However, there was no flag so he gathered the ball and scored.
Kev Ryan halved the deficit five minutes into the second half when he slotted home a Jack Brooks cross and Aaron Hollindrake headed in the 65th-minute equaliser.
