AFC Blackpool 0, Silsden 2
A SECOND-half brace from veteran utility man Kev Ryan proved decisive as Silsden came away from the west coast with a rare three points in the North West Counties League.
Blackpool is not normally a happy hunting ground for the Cobbydalers but victory on Saturday lifted them from tenth to sixth in the Premier Division table as they gained an advantage from being one of only two games to beat the weather in their section.
Ryan struck six minutes after the break following a goalless first half and then made the game safe 12 minutes from time when he doubled his side's advantage.
Silsden's move up the table is likely to stick as they already had games in hand over seven of the nine clubs above them before this win.
