THERE was huge relief in the Silsden camp last week when they banked their first league victory since September – and they will be aiming to build on that at home to Maine Road tomorrow.
The Cobbydalers and their Manchester-based visitors are two of three clubs in the middle of the table on 31 points. But Silsden boast the highest placing of the three (tenth) – and the other two have both played six games more.
Andy Geary's men romped to a 3-1 win at struggling Stockport Sports last time out, with Kev Ryan, Chris Wademan and Zack Dale all on target as they came from a goal down at half-time.
That was the Cobbydalers' first maximum haul in almost two months but it followed a point from a 1-1 home draw with Alsager Town the previous Saturday, so Geary's men are beginning to rediscover their early-season form.
