Liversedge have dropped to third in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division after a run of disappointing results but manager Steve Newton is hoping his side find their form on Saturday.

They travel to struggling Lincoln Moorlands Railway before back-to-back legs in the final of the League's President's Cup against mid-table Armthorpe Welfare.

"We have hit a wall at the moment, the lads have gone off the boil," said Newton.

"I think we have only won twice since Christmas in the league but there have been a lot of draws and we are still third.

"It would be nice to get back to winning ways this weekend - it would be a confidence boost going into the cup final games.

"Some of the youngsters are going to be involved from now on.

"Jake Lawler, Scott Swan, Joseph Cook and Ash Burton are in contention. Three of those will be in the 14-man squad for Saturday."
