Aaron Hardy can give Farsley defensive edge
New Farsley recruit Aaron Hardy will hope to retain his place in tomorrow night’s Evo-Stik League Division One North clash with Salford City.
Farsley stepped in to snap up the former FC Halifax Town defender after he spent most of pre-season with Bradford Park Avenue.
Hardy started at right back in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Lancaster and is now set to make his home debut.
While Farsley are in action for the second time this new season, many clubs on the lower steps of the non-league pyramid are playing the fourth games of their campaigns.
Liversedge are joint-leaders of the Baris Northern Counties East League Premier Division after three victories on the bounce.
They will be favourites to extend that run at home to Armthorpe Welfare, who have won just once to date.
Thackley have had a mixed bag of results but will be keen to make home advantage pay against Maltby Main, who have yet to pick up a point.
Brighouse Town have had one blip but have still banked six points and progressed in the FA Cup.
Paul Quinn’s men will be buoyant after hitting five goals past Tadcaster on Saturday as they head to Nostell Miners Welfare, who are still seeking a first point.
Silsden lost away from home back on the opening day of the North West Counties League campaign and are travelling again tomorrow night as they head to Squires Gate.
But the Cobbydalers have won both of their home Premier Division games, so will be hopeful of picking up their first points on the road.
