Liversedge are inviting applications to become their new manager after Steve Newton and his assistant Dave Gibson tendered their resignations.
The players were informed of the decision by the management duo at the club’s presentation evening.
The committee issued a statement underlining their gratitude to former Bradford Park Avenue reserve and caretaker manager Newton and Gibson for the work they had done in their two-year stint.
Sedge finished fourth in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division and won the President’s Cup in Newton’s first season at the helm.
But the club have felt the financial pinch this term and had to reduce the budget available to Newton on more than one occasion. They ended the campaign 14th with a young and inexperienced squad.
Applications for the vacated posts should reach the club by Friday, May 15. They should be sent to: Liversedge FC, Quaker Lane, Liversedge, West Yorkshire, WE15 8DF.
