THE reserve teams of Thackley, Liversedge, Silsden and Brighouse Town have resigned from the Lancashire League.
All these sides, with the exception of Liversedge – who will only have a first team this season – have joined the West Riding County FA Under-21 Floodlit League.
Nathan Priestley and Phil Wollias will manage Thackley under-21s, who drew their first pre-season friendly 4-4 against Hunslet Club.
Goals came from former Bradford City striker Kevin Sanasy (2), who was playing as an allowed over-age player, Talent Ndlovu and Mahine Malik.
Brighouse chairman Charles Tolley has taken a step back from managing their reserve side.
His place has been taken by Simon Ward, who will have the long-serving Barry Thomas as his assistant.
Brighouse begin their pre-season friendlies tonight at home to Brighouse Old Boys (7.00).
Town's ground at Hove Edge is now known as the Yorkshire Payments Stadium.
Meanwhile, Silsden under-21s will be under the guidance of long-standing reserve manager Paul Evans and his new assistant Kevin Whitaker.
Evans said: "We are just finishing a trial period of internal games and coaching sessions to finalise the squad, with friendlies in August to be confirmed."
