SILSDEN'S weekend game against Chadderton, in the lower tier of the Hallmark Security League, has been brought forward to tomorrow night because of another event at the Keighley Road Stadium on Saturday.

The Cobbydalers and their Lancastrian visitors are separated by just two places in mid-table as Silsden look to get back to winning ways.

Following back-to-back league victories, Danny Forrest’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat last Saturday.

However, that was at second-placed City of Liverpool FC, and the Cobbydalers will be seeking a league double as they beat Chadderton 2-1 back in September with goals from Leon Smith and Chris Wademan.

Saturday brings two big derby games in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League as Thackley host Liversedge in the Premier Division, while Division One newcomers Campion entertain Eccleshill United.

Thackley came away from Clayborn in November with all the points from a 3-1, and Sedge boss Jonathon Rimmington has been very complimentary about the Dennyboys’ style of play.

However, that won’t stop him doing his level best to ensure Chris Reape’s men don’t do the double and breach the 60-point watershed in the process.

While fourth hosts seventh in the top tier, there is also a tasty skirmish at the sportsbulk.co.uk Stadium on Scotchman Road as eighth-placed Campion welcome the tenth-placed Eagles.

The side’s played out a thrilling 3-3 draw when they met for the first ever league game in September.

Only two places separate the sides but new kids on the block Campion can boast a 12-point cushion over their more established neighbours.

Albion Sports face a short trip but their clash with Wayne Benn’s Hemsworth Miners' Welfare isn’t really a Premier Division derby.

Former Bantams midfielder and Park Avenue skipper Benn knows everything there is to know about clubs in Bradford and will be hoping to use his extensive knowledge to ensure that Albion don’t spark a much-needed revival against his side.

Higher up the pyramid, Farsley Celtic will be aiming to make the most of home advantage as they look to maintain their promotion push in Evo-Stik Division One North.

The Celts are second but still have their eyes on the title as they trail leaders Lancaster City by nine points but have three games in hand.

Farsley host struggling Prescot Cables on Saturday after the fillip of reaching the West Riding County Cup final.

Neil Parsley's side knocked out holders Bradford Park Avenue on Monday to book their place in the Valley Parade showpiece in April and keep their momentum going.

Brighouse Town are also at home and still harbour promotion desires but face another stern test.

Paul Quinn’s side are tenth and could climb back to seventh with a win but face a Colne side who are four places above them, five points better off and with a desire to break into the play-off places with a win at the Dual Seal Stadium.
