Liversedge have the chance to stretch their lead at the summit of the Toolstation Northern Counties East League top tier to four points tonight when they host Bridlington Town.

A 6-0 home win at the weekend saw Sedge stay a point ahead of nearest challengers Cleethorpes Town. With Cleethorpes and third-placed Thackley not in action, Jonathan Rimmington’s Sedge can take advantage.

Brid are tenth in the Premier Division and although they have two games in hand on Sedge they are 12 points behind tonight’s hosts.

Albion Sports lost at home to second-placed Cleethorpes at the weekend but they have an opportunity to minimise the damaged caused when they travel to Pickering Town tonight.

It will be a stern test of Kulwinder Sandhu’s side at the home of the Pikes but an away win would take Albion above their hosts and back into fourth place.

Campion should also have been in action, in Division One, but their scheduled opponents Knaresborough Town must play a West Riding County Cup first round tie at home against Goole AFC.
