FARSLEY marched through in the West Riding County Cup as they hammered lower-ranking opponents Glasshoughton Welfare 7-0 away to reach the second round.

SILSDEN and ALBION SPORTS join Farsley in the next round after they both enjoyed wins, also by big margins.

Silsden beat their local rivals Barnoldswick Town 5-0 while Albion also had a nap hand, brushing aside hosts Yorkshire Amateur 5-1.

LIVERSEDGE will have to await a decision from the West Riding FA after their home tie against Ossett Town was abandoned after 78 minutes with the score at 4-1. Sedge will be hoping the result will stand as only 12 minutes remained.
