Brighouse Town will have a keen interest in events at Dennyfield because they are just six points behind the Seadogs in third with a game in hand.
Town host mid-table Parkgate, while Liversedge will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat when they travel to Maltby Main. Sedge were beaten 1-0 at home by basement outfit Lincoln Moorlands last time out, which dropped them to 14th place, just one position above Maltby.
However, they would open up a nine-point gap over their hosts with a win.
The area’s two representatives in Division One put surprise defeats last weekend behind them as they registered home victories in midweek.
Albion Sports moved back up to third and have the opportunity to snatch second place off visitors Shirebrook Town at Horsfall Stadium. While Albion were enjoying a 3-0 midweek win, Shirebrook lost 3-1 at home to leaders Athersley Recreation.
Eccleshill United eased their fears of being dragged into a relegation battle with a 4-0 midweek win but they face a tough test at mid-table Clipstone Welfare as Bobby Davison’s young squad attempt to find some consistency.
