Salts picked up their first three-point haul at the fifth attempt by coming from 1-0 down at the break to beat Golcar United 3-2 in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division .
Gareth Gott scored twice for Salts, with Tom Hickey netting the other.
Tyersal clocked up their second successive victory with a 3-1 home win over last season’s champions Ovenden West Riding.
Two goals for Aaron Heywood and a Terry Ryan strike gave Tyersal the advantage, with Damian Randall – who has scored in all Ovenden’s games – grabbing a consolation.
Campion returned pointless from their trip to leaders Lepton Highlanders, with Gary Bradley scoring both the hosts’ goals in the first half.
Steeton had to settle for a point after drawing 1-1 at home to Storthes Hall, with Andy King scoring for Steeton and Pardeep Singh replying for the visitors.
Elsewhere, Hall Green United stay level on points with Lepton after goals from Clifton Firth and Mathew Marsden gave them a 2-0 success at bottom-placed Overthorpe.
Bay Athletic had Mat Mulvihill and Danny Steele to thank for their 2-1 win at Kirkburton, while Marsden had a comfortable 5-0 home victory over Littletown.
Albion Sports were sent crashing by Division One leaders Wakefield City. Ryan Barker netted four times in a 7-1 defeat, with Suniel Makh scoring Albion’s consolation.
Third-placed Ventus Yeadon Celtic also hit seven in a 7-4 win over Halifax Irish – Terry Hargreaves with a brace to add to others from Andy Holmes, Kyle Shah, Anthony Hannan, Adam Turner and an own goal.
Wibsey ’s defence leaked six goals on their trip to Huddersfield YMCA, with Dave Halley and Danny O’Donaldson on target for the visitors in a 6-2 defeat.
Littletown Reserves, who went through last season as the unbeaten champions in Division Three, were humbled 7-1 by Salts in Division Two .
The runners-up from last year had Richard Magson in terrific form. He scored four times as Littletown slipped to their heaviest defeat for over two years.
Mat Bailey (2) and Mat Homm also got on the scoresheet.
West Horton made it two successive Division Two victories with a 4-3 home win over Ovenden West Riding Reserves, with Lee Smith taking his goal tally from two games to five with a brace.
Steeton Reserves side also made it two wins from their two games, as Adam Spencer and Chris McGreggor both scored two goals in their 4-3 win at Golcar United Reserves.
Dudley Hill Rangers bounced back from their opening-day defeat at Golcar Reserves to beat Kirkburton Reserves 4-1 – James Mortimer, Roman Zurik, Lee Bastesy and Chris Gibbons with the goals.
