AN incredible 6-6 draw at high-flying Steeton brought Salts even closer to winning their first West Yorkshire County Amateur Premier Division title in 34 years.
That extraordinary scoreline on Wednesday night, coupled with a hard-fought 1-0 away win over Campion two days previously, means that Salts need to win both of their remaining games to be sure of lifting the trophy.
They will host Wibsey at Saltaire tomorrow, due to cricket being played at their opponents' ground, before they play their final game, a return fixture at home to Steeton next Wednesday.
Golcar United, who were the last side to take three points from Steeton in a league game way back in September, return to Steeton tomorrow, knowing that should they lose and Salts win, then Salts will be crowned champions.
Next Monday night, the final of the Bradford FA Saturday Senior Cup between Campion and Wibsey will take place at Eccleshill United with the kick-off being at 7:30pm.
