WITH more than 60 league and cup games to be played before the end of the season, the West Riding County Amateur League cannot afford to have any more almost blank Saturdays like it experienced during March.

Tomorrow, it is hoped that the remaining two quarter-final ties in the Premier Division Cup will be played. Steeton and Littletown, who met at the semi-final stage last season, will clash at Steeton at 1:45pm.

Littletown won 5-3 last year before subsequently lifting the cup by beating Golcar United in the final. Conversely, Steeton will be hoping to advance into the semis and the final for the chance to lift the trophy for the first time.

They will hope to do this to give themselves a boost before next season, when they are hoping to make the move onto the non-league pyramid on Step Six.

Route One Rovers, who won the Division One Cup last season, will meet DRAM Community FC at Esholt, in the other match for a semi-final spot.

Meanwhile, Salts will be looking to consolidate top spot in the Premier Division tomorrow with a trip to Britannia Sports. Campion and Wibsey also play away this weekend. Campion visit Wakefield City, while Wibsey head to Lower Hopton.
