BAD weather has taken its toll on the Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup.

The quarter-final between Calverley United and Field, which was scheduled to be played at the weekend, has been rearranged for Saturday, January 20 – which is when tomorrow night's last-eight tie between Campion and Salts Reserves (Craven League) should get underway.

That has taken a back seat due to the West Riding County Cup quarter-final between Campion and Farsley Celtic, which has been switched to Wednesday night having been postponed last week.

Meanwhile, there was some domestic action in the West Riding County Amateur League.

The only game to go ahead in the Premier Division was the clash between Huddersfield duo Golcar United and Lepton Highlanders.

United returned to second place and narrowed the gap on leaders Salts to four points with a 7-1 trouncing of the Highlanders.

Goals by Dean Siddiq (3) and Alex Hallam (2) were complemented by others from Ryan John and Richard Kettlewell, while Eme Hemingway netted Lepton's consolation.

TVR United took advantage of their 3G pitch at Zara Sports Centre and also ran out 7-1 winners in their Division One game against Overthorpe Sports Club.

Asid Khan and Danny Hussain both netted a brace to add to Asif Iqbal, Faisal Shabir and an own goal for TVR, while Kristian Angus scored in the first half for the visitors.

Bradford FC put behind them nine successive defeats to pick up a point with a 3-3 draw at home to Tingley Athletic.

Wayne Broxholme, Abdula Hameed and Jaanshar Khan scored for Bradford, with Jack Kanyama (2) and Danny McMahon replying.
