THE Premier Division Cup final is the highlight on the final weekend of West Riding County Amateur League action as Littletown take on Golcar United at Brighouse Town (2.30pm).

Neither side has previously won the competition so whichever lifts the Ernest Waddilove Trophy today will be joining an illustrious list including Guiseley, Farsley Celtic, Thackley, Liversedge, Brighouse Town, Silsden, Hemsworth Miners Welfare, Albion Sports and Campion, who have all since moved into professional and semi-pro football.

Thornton United need only one point from their final Division One game at second-placed Wakefield City to lift the title but defeat would hand the prize to their hosts.

Steeton Reserves, who had Will Knight and Andy Howland on target as they beat Silsden Whitestar Reserves 2-0 on Monday to win the Keighley FA Supplementary Cup for the second successive season, wind up their campaign with a trip to Holmfirth Town.

TVR United failed in their bid to add the Division Two Cup to their league title when they were beaten 3-1 by Lower Hopton Reserves.

Monday sees the Division One Cup final between Route One Rovers and Golcar United Reserves take place at Tingley (6.30pm).
