ONLY five points separate the top six Premier Division teams in the Taylor's Timber West Riding County Amateur League – and the fixture list has matched them all against each other this weekend.

Steeton, who are sixth, will be seeking a morale-boosting victory to boost their chances of lifting the title for the first time as they host second-placed Littletown in the first of three scheduled meetings between the sides before the season ends.

Leaders Golcar United would open a six-point gap between themselves and third-placed visitors Newsome with a victory, while defending champions Huddersfield YMCA play their penultimate league game of this season at home to Lower Hopton as fourth take on fifth.

Elsewhere, Salts are at home to basement side DRAM Community, while Campion travel to second-bottom Overthorpe SC.

Route One Rovers, who lead the way in Division One and were last beaten in a league game back in early October, travel to third-placed Britannia Sports, who are one of their rivals for promotion.

West Horton, who are also hoping to step up into the top flight next season, take on second-placed Holmfirth Town, while Thornton United visit Churwell Lions and will be seeking three points as well to keep them in the promotion hunt.

Hunsworth and Tyersal, who occupy the bottom two places, go head to head as they battle to beat the drop.

TVR United could claim the Division Two title with a victory at second-bottom Lower Hopton Reserves.

* The Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup semi-final between Campion and Thornton United Reserves, postponed from Monday, has been rearranged for this coming Monday at Eccleshill United (7.30pm).
