A WINLESS weekend for the top three clubs in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division has blown open the title race.

Second-placed Littletown – who have played four games fewer than leaders Golcar United and have nine games to play – will be looking over their shoulders at Newsome FC, Lower Hopton and Steeton, who are only three points adrift.

Tomorrow, Littletown will host bottom-club DRAM Community FC at Beck Lane (2.30 kick-off). Golcar are without a game, so victory would put them just one point behind.

Fourth-placed Newsome are at Campion, while Lower Hopton visit Salts, and Steeton entertain second-bottom Overthorpe.

Division One leaders Route One Rover, who should have been playing Steeton Reserves at Esholt, are without a game as their opponents are involved in the Keighley FA Supplementary Cup semi-finals against Oxenhope Recreation Reserves.

Second-placed Holmfirth Town will provide the opposition for fourth-placed Thornton United, with West Horton travelling to Hunsworth in a rearranged fixture.
