CAMPION seriously dented the chances of Huddersfield YMCA picking up the Taylor’s Timber West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division championship for a second successive season.

The Bradford club beat them 3-2 thanks to Chris Hellewell (2) and Josh Ludford, with Adrian Igielski and match-day signing Jordan Robinson replying.

Salts moved up to sixth after beating visitors Overthorpe SC 5-0.

Littletown booked their place in the semi-finals of the Heavy Woollen & District FA Challenge Cup with a 6-3 success over Yorkshire Amateur League Division Two outfit Woodkirk Valley.
