THE overnight frost from Friday into Saturday led to the postponement of all but four of the scheduled fixtures in the Taylor's Timber West Riding County Amateur League.

These included two of the three Premier Division Cup ties – Littletown against Campion and the clash of Huddersfield-based rivals Golcar United and DRAM Community.

Campion twice held the lead at Littletown, Chris Hellewell edging them ahead in the first half before Sam Lawrence equalised.

Kieron Batey scored early in the second half to restore Campion's advantage, only for Joe Jagger and Duane Bywood to respond for Littletown and secure a semi-final spot with a 3-2 success.

Golcar and DRAM Community, who were 3-3 at the end of 90 minutes, went to extra time in their tie before Golcar ran out 8-4 winners.

Matthew Bryan (3), Ben Burnett (2), Alex Hallam (2) and Domonik Moorhouse were on target for Golcar, while Steve Richards (2), Darius Mathewson and Tebo Mpala replied.

There were also two games involving teams at the top of Division Two, with Salts Reserves and TVR United exchanging places at the summit.

TVR slipped to their first league defeat of the season – losing 3-2 at Tingley Athletic, with Charles Gecsie-Holt (2) and Domonic Doggett scoring for Athletic, while Jinaid Taj grabbed both TVR goals.

Salts Reserves climbed into pole position, three points clear of TVR, after beating Thornton United Reserves 5-3.

Wayne Walsh's hat-trick for Salts was backed up by Ryan Whitfield and Ryan Boguslawski, while Brendan Folan netted all three for Thornton.
