TAYLOR'S Timber West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division sides DRAM Community, Salts, Littletown and Campion Reserves all secured their place in the next round of the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup.

Salts, with goals from Joe Pleasance, Jonny Cunnington and Luke Lavery, returned from West Yorkshire League side Aberford Albion with a 3-2 victory, while Campion's reserve side had Chris Helliwell and Mat Warden on target in their 2-1 success over Wetherby Athletic.

Huddersfield-based DRAM were held at home by Division One outfit Britannia Sports 3-3 before winning the penalty shoot-out 3-2.

Littletown proved far too strong for Goole AFC Academy as Joe Jagger pitched in with four goals and substitute George White with a brace to add to contributions from substitute Adam Forbes, Adam Jordan, Callum Wheatley and Zadi Khan in their 10-2 victory.

Steeton were due to play Harlow Hill of the Harrogate League but were given a walkover after their opponents were unable to raise a team.

Bradford FC, Golcar United Reserves, Steeton Reserves and both Thornton United's sides advanced into the next round of the West Riding County FA Challenge Trophy.

Steeton Reserves got the better of visitors AFC Horsforth, with Andy Briggs, Will Knight and Ollie Whitham scoring in their 3-1 victory.

Thornton United beat York League side Thorpe United 4-3 on penalties after drawing 2-2, while Thornton's reserve side won a penalty shoot-out 5-4 after being held to a 2-2 draw by Aimbry Reserves.

Only two Premier Division fixtures were scheduled in the County Amateur League's domestic competition.

Halifax Irish lost 6-1 at home to Honley, while Newsome climbed above Huddersfield YMCA and Salts into second place, one point behind leaders Littletown, after drawing 2-2 at home to Lepton Highlanders.

West Horton travelled to Division One promotion rivals Holmfirth Town and had their three-point advantage at the top of the table wiped out.

After being 3-0 down at the break, Horton hit back with two goals from Lee Smith and one from Jamil Salh but lost 4-3.

Wakefield City also moved into joint-top place after a 5-1 success at Westbrook YMCA, while Ventus-Yeadon Celtic moved into the top half of the table following a 4-1 home victory over Churwell Lions.
