CAMPION end their Taylor's Timber West Riding County Amateur League season with a home match against Premier Division champions Huddersfield YMCA tonight.

YMCA secured the title with a 3-0 midweek victory at local rivals Golcar United, while Lepton Highlanders sealed the runners-up spot with a 2-0 success at Lower Hopton.

Third-placed Campion, who are the only team to beat YMCA on their own ground this season, will be seeking to do the double, which would be a fitting finale should their bid for promotion to Step Six – and membership of the Northern Counties East League Division One next season – be fruitful.

Tyersal have three games left, starting with trip to Lower Hopton this weekend, before playing Steeton at home and YMCA away.

Ventus-Yeadon Celtic wrap up their season with a trip to Division One champions Newsome, while Dewsbury-based Overthorpe SC have a must-win final game at Honley if they are to pinch the runners-up place ahead of DRAM Community, who have completed their campaign.

With two games to play, Campion Reserves travel to Holmfirth Town before ending their season at West Horton next Wednesday.

Midweek results – Premier Division: Golcar Utd 0 Huddersfield YMCA 3, Lower Hopton 0 Lepton Highlanders 2. Division One: Steeton Res 1 Campion Res 1, Westbrook YMCA 3 Holmfirth Town 2.
