WITH less than half of the scheduled league games in the Taylor's Timber West Riding County Amateur League played since the turn of the year, and with many clubs still involved in West Riding County FA or local district cups, the league are hoping for a break in the weather to allow clubs to catch up with their fixtures before the official end of season on Saturday, May 14.

Campion, who still have 12 league fixtures to play, are still involved in three cups – the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup, the Bradford & District FA Cup and the County Amateur League's Premier Division Cup.

Tomorrow, Campion entertain Littletown, who they shared the points with in a 2-2 draw in November.

Steeton have only failed to score in three games this season – one of them when they were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Ovenden West Riding, and they visit Natty Lane in Halifax for the return fixture tomorrow.

Salts, whose ground was unavailable at the start of the season, have only played four of their 12 home league games, and will be seeking the double over Premier Division leaders Lepton Highlanders, who they beat 3-2 in October.

Division One side Ventus Yeadon Celtic and their West Yorkshire League opponents Ilkley Town will make a fourth attempt to play their delayed West Riding County FA Challenge Cup tie at Dam Lane (1.30pm).
