FIVE of the Taylor's Timber West Riding County Amateur League's Premier Division sides are bidding for a place in the last 16 of the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup on Saturday.

Campion will travel to Tadcaster to play York Minster Engineering League Premier Division side Church Fenton White Horse, while the other four all face opposition from the West Yorkshire League.

Golcar United and Lower Hopton will have home advantage against Horbury Town and Altofts, while Lepton Highlanders and Littletown travel to Carlton Athletic and Ilkley Town respectively.

The County Amateur League also have six teams in the West Riding County FA Challenge Trophy.

Campion's reserve side will host Ealandians, who play in the Yorkshire Amateur League, Ventus Yeadon Celtic will take on Halifax League outfit Calder 76 at Dam Lane, and Route One Rovers, from Division Two, will host Honley, who are second in Division One, at Esholt.

Salts Reserves are at Leeds City Reserves.

Without a win in any game since early October, Steeton will be looking to reverse that trend when they host Halifax Irish in the Premier Division.

Salts, who slipped to their heaviest defeat of the season when they were beaten 8-3 at home to Ovenden West Riding, will be looking to their decent away form – they have won six times on the road – when they meet in the reverse fixture at Natty Lane (2.00).

In Division One, Wibsey, without a league victory, host newcomers Holmfirth Town, who are the only team yet to lose a league fixture, having won three and drawn five of their eight fixtures.

On Tuesday evening, the league's management committee accepted the resignation of Dudley Hill Rangers from the Premier Division.

Rangers, who were put in the top flight following the resignation of champions Bay Athletic, cited a lack of players of the standard required for the Premier Division.
