WIBSEY survived a shock to win through to the second round of the Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup.

The West Riding County Amateur League Division One strugglers trailed West Yorkshire League visitors Field Reserves 3-0 after strikes by Robert Gumbley, Jack Webster and Ben Baker.

First-half goals from Liam Reilly and Liam Royal cemented Lower Hopton's advantage, only for Campion's strikeforce of Jordan Missin, Gavin Armitage, Lee Smith and Andrew Bailey to hit the target. Dominic Scoon reduced the arrears for the Mirfield side as Campion won 4-3 – their third away win of the season.

Steeton put a run of three games without a win behind them with a 3-2 home victory over Dudley Hill Rangers.

Nico Carrucio put Rangers ahead but Lee Reilly equalised for Steeton from the penalty spot and Nick McNally's brace made it 3-1 before Dominic Staunton bagged another for Rangers.

Tyersal remain second from bottom after losing 5-3 at home to Littletown.

Two goals from Jamie Sugden and a Ben McArdle goal were insufficient for Tyersal, who were outshot by Joe Jagger, Lee McKeown, Tom Haigh, Capi Khan and Michael Smith.

Hunsworth, who started with only ten men, are still at the foot of the table after a 14-0 home defeat to second-placed Lepton Highlanders.

After losing their first game of the season 1-0 to Lepton Highlanders, last season's runners-up Ovenden West Riding extended their unbeaten run to seven matches with a 5-0 victory at Golcar United.

With many sides in Division One involved in district FA Cup games, West Horton missed the chance to climb the table when they were defeated 6-2 at DRAM Community.
