TYERSAL'S place in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division for next season is entirely in their own hands.

As they enter their final nine games of the season, they are seven points adrift of Littletown, who occupy the second relegation spot, and are eight points behind Huddersfield YMCA.

On Saturday, Tyersal visit Bay Athletic, who have not yet ruled themselves out of the title race.

Hunsworth, who netted over 100 league goals last season as the runaway leaders of Division One, are teetering on the edge of a quick return.

They face Salts at Marley but four of their last seven games are against clubs in and around them.

Campion moved up into second last weekend with a 5-0 victory at Tyersal and will be seeking to hold on to that spot with victory at Kirkburton, while Steeton will be looking to secure their place in the top half of the table with a victory at Halifax Irish.

Ventus Yeadon Celtic and Dudley Hill Rangers, who have set the pace for most of the season in Division One, enter the final third of the season with high hopes of promotion.

Celtic will be hoping to avoid their hosts, third-placed Wakefield City, from completing the double over them after losing 3-1 in the first meeting last month. Dudley Hill Rangers entertain fifth-placed Wibsey at East Bierley.
