FOR the first time this season, there was a complete weekend blank in the West Riding County Amateur League.
Snow-covered pitches was the main problem but even those clubs who tried to rearrange home venues were thwarted as artificial pitches had either already been booked or were themselves covered in snow.
One of the three League Cup ties due to be played – the Division One quarter-final between Wakefield City and Campion Reserves – has been rescheduled for next Saturday.
There was also a white-out in the Spen Valley League programme.
