All West Riding County Amateur League games tomorrow will have a pre-match photograph taken to commemorate the 1914 Christmas truce between British and German soldiers, during which a football match was played in no man's land.

'Football Remembers Week' started today and lasts until Sunday, December 14, and will involve matches from the Barclays Premier League down to the grassroots, with photos being uploaded to footballremembers.com.

After two weekends of games being postponed due to saturated surfaces, the league are hoping for a full complement of fixtures.

Five league clubs are bidding to progress from the third round of the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup into the last 16, and one is guaranteed to get there as Premier Division rivals Salts and Steeton – runners-up last season – meet at Marley Stadium (1.00).

Campion, who have progressed with home wins over Uppermill (8-0) and Storthes Hall (4-2), travel to West Yorkshire League Premier Division side Boroughbridge.

Lower Hopton entertain West Yorkshire League Division One leaders Carlton Athletic, while Division One Lepton Highlanders host Craven League Settle United.

Five County Amateur Division Two sides are striving for a place in the last 16 of the West Riding County FA Challenge Trophy.

Gildersome Spurs Old Boys, Golcar United Reserves, Honley and Salts Reserves have home advantage against Kettlethorpe, Whitkirk Wanderers Reserves, Hartshead and Wortley respectively, while Bay Athletic Reserves visit Leeds City Reserves.

Hunsworth, who won three of their first five Premier Division games this season, have lost their last seven and will be hoping to put a stop to that run when Huddersfield YMCA, who are just two points behind them in the second relegation spot, visit East Bierley (2pm).

Tyersal, who prop up the table, travel to Littletown, who are only five points better off.
