STEETON and Salts are meeting on successive weekends – in the West Riding County Amateur League tomorrow and then in the third round of the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup.

Salts, who have seven more points than their hosts, will be looking for a fourth consecutive Premier Division victory to keep them in touch with the teams above them.

Steeton, who have played three games fewer, also need the points to stop themselves from sliding nearer the lower reaches of the table.

Campion, who have won all four games so far in November, will be hoping their form continues when they visit second-placed Bay Athletic.

Tyersal and Huddersfield YMCA, who occupy the bottom two places, will put aside their quest to climb the table when they meet in the second round of the Premier Division Cup chasing a place in the last four.

The top six sides in Division One are all playing each other.

Leaders Ventus-Yeadon Celtic will host fifth-placed Thornes at Dam Lane, Dudley Hill Rangers – who are in second, five points adrift of Celtic – are at fourth-placed Overthorpe SC and Bradford Horton Sports, in third, visit Wakefield City.

At the foot of the table, Campion Reserves and DRAM Community meet at Manningham Mills, where victory for either side would lift them above Steeton Reserves, who are without a fixture.
