HUNSWORTH, beaten finalists in last season's Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup, eased into the quarter-finals with a 4-2 second-round victory over West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division rivals Tyersal.

Charlie Taylor (2), Joel Farrar and Chris McMahon were on target for Hunsworth, while Nick Cowling and Luke Cooke scored both Tyersal's goals in the second half.

Chris Helliwell netted all four goals for Campion Reserves in their 4-3 win over Field Reserves.

Bradford Horton Sports also moved into the last eight, with Lee Smith, Tamour Khan and Mohammed Ikram netting in a 3-2 success over Salts' Craven League side.

Meanwhile, Dudley Hill Rangers eased past Whitburn 6-1 to set up a home tie with Campion.

In the league, Wibsey moved level on points with Ventus-Yeadon Celtic at the top of Division One after a 3-1 home win over Storthes Hall Reserves.

Daniel O'Donnell, with a brace, and Philip Brogan scored for Wibsey, while Joshua Rodgers supplied the visitors' consolation.

Steeton Reserves picked up three points with a 2-1 victory at Westbrook YMCA.

Golcar United extended their 100 per cent start in the Premier Division to ten games following a 2-0 home victory over Campion.

Rhys Wharam gave Golcar a first-half advantage before Simon Thompson doubled the scoreline in the second half.

Hudderfield neighbours Bay Athletic kept up the pressure to stay three points adrift with a 2-0 victory at Salts, thanks to strikes from Nathan James and Tom Brown.

With Division Two leaders Gildersome Spurs Old Boys playing in the Heavy Woollen FA District Cup, Lower Hopton Reserves had to settle for a point at Tyersal Reserves in a 3-3 draw and missed the opportunity to go level on points with the pace-setters.

Liam Wharton (2) and Gareth Stoyles netted for Tyersal, while a Jarrod Pusey double and Kyle Douglas hit the target for Hopton.

Goals from Richard Magson and Mat Humm were not enough for Salts Reserves as two Matty Willam strikes and one from Fabian Sylvester gave Bay Athletic Reserves a 3-2 victory.

A George Porter hat-trick was scant consolation for Littletown Reserves at home to Ovenden West Riding Reserves, who ran out 9-3 victors.
