TYERSAL moved out of the bottom two in the PREMIER DIVISION following a dour goalless draw at home to basement side and previously pointless Kirkburton.

Chances to take all three points were few and far between and a point for both sides was a fair result.

Steeton picked up their second win of the season thanks to a Lee Reilly brace and further goals from Andy Holden and Mark McGee as they beat Huddersfield YMCA 4-1. Indy Chamal netted YMCA's consolation.

A goal in each half from Carlton Pownall and Jordan Coduri saw last season's champions Ovenden West Riding to a 2-0 victory at Marley Stadium against Salts.

Hunsworth, who beat their hosts Halifax Irish 4-3 in the opening game of the season, had to settle for a point from a 3-3 draw in the return fixture at Natty Lane. Dale Wright with a pair and Joel Farrar were on target for Hunsworth, with Callum Meade (2) and Gareth Jones on the scoresheet for the hosts.

Elsewhere, leaders Golcar United extended their perfect start to nine consecutive league victories with a 2-0 home win over Lower Hopton, thanks to goals from Matt Davies and Simon Thompson, while Storthes Hall lost 2-1 at home to their local Huddersfield rivals Bay Athletic.

Ventus Yeadon Celtic dropped their first points of the season in DIVISION TWO with a 3-3 draw at Wibsey. Philip Brogan, with two, and Daniel O'Donnell scored for Wibsey with Joel Etienne, Kyle Shah and Adam Turner replying for Celtic. Dudley Hill Rangers moved up to second place with a 3-1 home success against Steeton Reserves, with Danny Softley, Jamie Sugden and Dominic Staunton hitting the target for Rangers, with Ross Bailey replying for Steeton.

Bradford Horton Sports kept their unbeaten start with a 6-0 home thumping of Storthes Hall Reserves, with new signing Avril Singh and Tuself Arshad both scoring twice to complement Tahir Khan and Paul Woods' efforts.

Campion Reserves remain pointless after losing 5-3 at Lepton Highlanders, with Chris Helliwell, Liam Charles and Damian Rushworth, following his transfer from Tyersal, scoring for Campion.

Bradford FC in their second season in Division Two finally found their goalscoring touch when they netted nine times without reply against Tyersal Reserves. Star of the show was Shehaz Mahmood, who weighed in with six goals, while Azir Gulzar, Faisal Ali and Jordan Campbell made up the number.

Gildersome Spurs Old Boys and Honley FC, two of the league's three new sides, were also on the goal trail, with Gildersome's Ben Keedy scoring four and Stephen Ball and Stephen Wales two apiece as they beat Bay Athletic Reserves 8-1, whilst Honley thrashed Salts Reserves 7-0.
