The Telegraph & Argus League is set for one of the tightest finishes in its long history, with any of the top seven teams having a chance of winning the Premier Division title.
Bradford Arms returned to the summit for the first time since early December with a 3-1 home win over West Bowling United but only narrowly by goal difference from TVR United.
Thornbury YCC had led at the start of the day but they slumped to a 5-2 defeat at TVR.
Faisal Shabir have TVR an early lead and they then made the visitors pay for missing a penalty as Junaid Taj, Mohammed Ishmaeel and Shabir scored in quick succession.
Majid Ali pulled one back before the break but Mohammed Farooq Miah restored the four-goal cushion and Abas Shoab’s late strike was just a consolation for Thornbury.
Meanwhile, Bradford Arms had to work hard to see off seventh-placed West Bowling, who could still snatch the title if they win their games in hand.
Shazad Ashraf’s penalty for Bowling cancelled out defender Pete Henson opener but Danny Harrison and Craig Thomas sealed the points.
Bradford All Stars edged a seven-goal thriller against Lidget Green, with Gulfraz Satti’s double proving decisive.
White Abbey Road also won by the odd goal in seven at home to Sporting Athletic as Wahid Khan hit a key brace.
The battle of the bottom two clubs saw West Bradford Spartans and Abundant Life Church share the points from a 1-1 draw.
