Fairbank will be crowned champions of the Telegraph & Argus League at the weekend even though they were beaten 2-1 at inconsistent Bradford Arms on Saturday.
Sohad Hamed fired the hosts in front at the start of the second half but ten minutes later the leaders drew level through Mohammed Ismaeel.
The Fairbank scorer was then sent off for dissent and Arms took advantage to score the winner courtesy of Danny Harrison, leaving them in pole position to finish second.
Third-placed Lidget Green are level on points with Arms after a 3-1 home win over Bradford All Stars.
Waheed Iqbal (2) and Shasiq Raja scored the decisive goals but Shaid Saddique was also in top form and was named the man of the match.
This victory for Green followed a thrilling 6-5 win at West Bowling in midweek, while All Stars had drawn 1-1 at Thornbury Youth.
Ventnor Youth are the form team and followed up a 5-0 midweek victory at bottom side All Nations by winning 4-2 at West Bowling.
Club secretary Aswer Saddiq was dragged out of retirement by Bowling due to a shortage of players but he could not affect the outcome.
Mohammed Sidat notched a brace for Ventnor, with Idrif Pandor and Danny Gorley also on target.
Meanwhile, Lidget Green and Thornbury Youth contest the final of the T&A League Cup at Thackley on Thursday (7pm).
