Free-scoring Fairbank run riot

League leaders Fairbank are a team who have been finding the back of the net consistently this season, although they went in front against All Nations courtesy of an own goal.

Shaizab Hussain and Naveed Hussain added two more before the interval.

The second half was one-way traffic and four more goals followed from Jinad Taj, Mohammed Ismaeel and a brace from substitute Akif Waseem.

Last season’s champions Bradford All Stars warmed up for their forthcoming County Cup match with a hard-earned 3-2 victory at West Bowling United.

All Stars opened the scoringbut Qama Sadiq equalised.

The champions scored a quickfire double in the second half and seem to be getting their season back on track after a poor start. Shezard Ashraf pulled a goal back to ensure an exciting finale.

Abundant Life lost their unbeaten start to the season when Lidgett Green found their goalscoring touch. Mark Miller pulled one back late on in a 3-1 defeat for Abundant Life.

Keeping up the pressure at the top of the table, Thornbury Youth overcame a determined Bradford Arms team 2-1 thanks to outstanding displays from Nikash Yousaf and Sajad Ali, the latter hitting the winning goal.

Basement outfit Sporting Athletic were beaten 4-0 at home by East Bowling.
