Calverley are hit for six

Pudsey -based Grangefield beat Leeds Medics & Dentists 5-0 in the Senior A section of the Yorkshire Amateur League .
Promoted Grangefield comprehensively outplayed their rivals, with goals from Kev Brown, Chris Cairns, Andy Kenyon and Grant Jackson (2).
Beeston Old Boys thrashed Calverley United 6-0 in Senior B, while St Bedes scored twice in the final minute to beat Stanningley OB Res 4-3.
In Division One, AFC Heckmondwike were 3-2 winners over Collegians 2nds. Rob Hiscox’s free-kick won it for the hosts, with Elliott Williams (penalty) and Joe Green adding to the tally.
St Bedes Reserves were comfortable 4-0 winners over Bramley Juniors OB III in Division Two, with Jerome Yewdall (2), Jordan Northin and veteran Robbie Parker taking the chances.
Sandal Wanderers went down 5-2 to Morley Town.
Grangefield OB Reserves triumphed 6-2 at home to Calverley United Reserves in Division Three and, in Division Five, St Bede’s III won 6-1 at Huddersfield Amateur. St Bedes gave their rivals an object lesson in finishing, with Kris Balodis (3), Wayne French (2) and Steve Thwaites on target.
