Buttershaw White Star beat the big freeze by playing a match before it started.
The Bradford Sunday Alliance League Premier Division leaders defeated visitors Thornton United 3-0 on Thursday night in the fourth round of the Senior Cup to reach the seni-finals.
Ben O’Melia (2) and Jordan Missin (penalty) netted against the Division One front-runners, for whom keeper Ryan Blythe was outstanding, making a series of excellent saves.
There was no such luck in the West Riding County Amateur League and West Riding County Challenge Cup, where all the games were called off.
This means changes to next Saturday’s programme, with the fourth-round Challenge Cup tie between Brighouse Town and Lepton Highlanders taking precedence.
Just one Spen Valley League match survived the bad weather.
The Division One fixture finished 3-1 in favour of hosts Savile United against Norfolk, a result that saw the winners close to within two points of their mid-table opponents.
Zubair Patel netted in the first half for Savile. Mamaniat Ebrahim equalised but Savile’s strong second half secured the points.
