BRADFORD City Women must be clinical with their chances against Middlesbrough in the FA Women's Premier League this weekend, says Ellie White.

City's number nine could make her full return from injury tomorrow, having featured off the bench in last week's win at Derby.

It would be the perfect boost as the Bantams take on the Northern Division leaders, knowing it will take a few goals to get a result.

White said: "We definitely need to take our chances when we can. I think it will come down to that.

"When we played Boro last, they were strong up top and down the wings, so we need to stay compact and work hard as a team."

White recalled a 3-2 defeat on Teesside in November and said: "We put on a disappointing first-half performance, conceding three goals, and it was hard to come back and win from there.

"But we had a few injuries that game, so hopefully we can show them what we are made of this time and come away with the win."

City are certainly stronger this time around, with both full-back Zoe Roberts and striker Laura Elford having returned from injury last week.

Roberts played her part as Bradford kept a clean sheet at Derby, while Elford made a telling contribution as her 16th goal of the season separated the sides in a 1-0 win.

With her own recovery almost complete, White says getting everyone back on the training pitch is key to achieving results.

"It's important that we're getting back to a full-strength squad so we can all train together and work on things for the next game," she said.

"When we lost to Stoke a few weeks ago, I didn't think we worked as a team at all and our fitness was an issue.

"But we've been working on fitness since and that paid off last week, as well as our determination and team spirit showing.

"That win is definitely a boost before tomorrow and I think the spirit we carry into the game will show massively."
