NORTHERN Division One champions Guiseley Vixens host Hull City tomorrow hoping to see their superb FA Women's Premier League season out in style and hit their visitors' hopes of finishing second.

In their previous outing, Guiseley were up against third-placed Liverpool Marshalls Feds – also challenging for the runners-up spot – and the game ended in a 1-1 draw after a tense encounter.

A goalless first half was followed by Chantelle O'Hara edging the Vixens ahead. But despite having a player sent of in the 79th minute, the Merseysiders hit back to equalise with just moments remaining.

Brighouse Town, assured of sixth place, continued their storming end to the campaign with a 4-2 midweek win at Leeds Ladies, although a 2-2 draw against Crewe last week looks to have ended their chance of a top-five finish.

Town found themselves behind at the interval to a 36th-minute goal but while Charlotte Proud and Kayleigh Bamforth scored in the second half, Crew added a second 14 minutes from time.

They made no such mistake on Thursday night at Leeds. Despite being held 1-1 at half-time, goals from Danielle Brown (2), Jodie Redgrave and Demi Pringle secured a comfortable win and left the Calderdale side in good heart for their last two games.

They have a blank day tomorrow but return to action next Sunday at Blackpool Wren Rovers and then conclude their season in the County Cup final against Bradford City the following Wednesday at county headquarters in Woodlesford.

Bradford Park Avenue finished their season with a Supplementary Cup win over New Farnley.

Avenue let slip a 5-2 interval lead but just scraped home 7-5 thanks to a hat-trick from Nat Bell, two goals by Jade Nelson and one apiece from Alice McUrich and Kirsty Russell.
